The 30 Richest Actors Under 30 Years Old

These actors haven’t even hit 30 yet, and they already have enough cash to fill a swimming pool with gold coins and swim around in it like Scrooge McDuck. Each one of these young talents is laughing all the way to the bank, but which one has the loudest chuckle? That’s exactly what we want to know! So we’re pitting them all against each other in a winner-takes-all battle — metaphorically of course, we’re not sadists — to see who walks away with the gold. These are the 30 wealthiest actors under 30 right now.

30. Halle Bailey ($3 million)

At 23 years young, Halle Bailey already has enough talent to turn the tide of her career, and it runs in the family, too. She started out as a musician: specifically, one half of a double act with her equally gifted sister Chloe as the five-times-Grammy-nominated Chloe x Halle.

Bailey’s acting skills secured her the role as Sky Forster in TV’s Grown-ish, and she rode that wave to a role in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. See what we did there? As long as she doesn’t trade her voice to a sea witch, she has a bright future in both movies and music.

29. Rachel Zegler ($3 million)

Believe it or not, 22-year-old Rachel Zegler actually got her first taste of fame when she performed a cover song of Lady Gaga’s “Shallow” on YouTube. Now she’s making Hollywood dance to her tune following her stellar performance as Maria in 2021’s West Side Story, having beaten 30,000 other actresses to the punch.

Zegler’s lyrical voice has already secured her a role as a Disney princess in the upcoming live-action remake of Snow White — as Snow herself, obviously — and her acting is just as strong. She’s showing just how much survivability she has with her lead role in the future Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

28. Caleb McLaughlin ($3 million)

When young people dream of being millionaire actors, tell them stranger things have happened — literally. Caleb McLaughlin is 21 now, and while he’s been acting on television shows since 2014, perhaps you saw him first on Broadway where he hit the boards as young Simba in The Lion King. McLaughlin is a triple threat: he can act, sing, and dance.

Still, McLaughlin’s true claim to fame came along in 2016 when he took the role of Lucas Sinclair in the hit Netflix show Stranger Things. His team told IMDb, “Caleb is a well-balanced kid and a true humanitarian. He loves God, his family and appreciates all those who support him on this journey.”

27. Noah Schnapp ($3 million)

Remember Will Byers, the kid trapped in the Upside Down in Stranger Things? Well, he’s more grown up than you might think now; he’s 19, and he’s still the focal point of some of the show’s spooky storylines. He’s also had several big-screen roles, including the award-winning Spielberg thriller, Bridge of Spies.

Influential Schnapp is a big win for representation in the LGBTQ+ community, too. He recently came out as gay, accompanied by the comment — spoiler alert — “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.” So that’s an insight into both a young star’s life and a hint of things to come for the show.

26. Finn Wolfhard ($4 million)

Among his independent film roles and TV appearances, Finn Wolfhard has broken into the music business with his garage-rock band Calpurnia and bathed in the limelight of Hollywood. Though of course we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the big, alternate-universe elephant in the room that made Wolfhard mainstream. Namely, his role as Will in Stranger Things

That’s probably his most famous performance, but it’s far from his only trick. In fact, Wolfhard’s been in some big Hollywood titles, such as 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the movie adaptions of Stephen King’s hit horror novel: 2017’s IT and 2019’s IT Chapter Two. This young guy is really cornering the market on spooky.

25. Letitia Wright ($4 million)

Letitia Wright is no stranger to working in Hollywood. At this point the 20-year-old has already spent half her young life in the industry building up a stellar reputation, even winning a Rising Star award from BAFTA in 2019. It’s no surprise, then, that she went from TV shows — the likes of Black Mirror and Doctor Who being highlights — to Hollywood.

For fans of Marvel and Disney’s MCU, Wright needs no introduction. She plays the sister of Black Panther and Wakanda’s genius princess, Shuri. Since Black Panther, she has reprised the role several times — in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and more recently as a pivotal character in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

24. Gaten Matarazzo ($5 million)

Gaten Matarazzo kickstarted his career on Broadway as everyone’s favorite singing French urchin Gavroche in Les Misérables. But of course you will probably know him better as Dustin in Stranger Things. Both Dustin and Matarazzo have something in common: cleidocranial dysplasia — or CCD.

CCD affects tooth growth, so Matarazzo uses dentures as a result. Although it’s not a commonly known condition, 21-year-old Matarazzo has leveraged his fame to raise a lot of awareness for it, and now his sister, influencer Sabrina Matarazzo, is doing the same.

23. Maddie Ziegler ($5 million)

Despite being only 21 years old, Maddie Ziegler is no stranger to performing: she did start performing at two years old, after all! Her claim to fame is dance, which she showed off during her time on the wildly successful reality show, Dance Moms. Ziegler is more than just fancy footwork, though. She’s a singer-songwriter for several Sia music video hits, including “Chandelier.”

Not content with monopolizing several peoples’ share of talent as a dancer, singer, and songwriter, Ziegler’s now into acting, too! She was in Pretty Little Liars, West Side Story — no, she’s not related to Rachel Ziegler, the name’s a coincidence — and starred alongside talent such as Naomi Watts in 2017’s The Book of Henry.

22. Jenna Ortega ($5 million)

21-year-old Jenna Ortega was mostly known as a Disney star at the start of her career, from a bit-part in Iron Man 3 to her more well-known role in Stuck In The Middle. These days, of course, she’s known for her spookier roles. For instance, she was an important character in 2022’s Scream.

Ortega also famously played Wednesday in the TV series of the same name. Interestingly, though, as much as fans loved the show, Ortega found it challenging. In 2023 she told website Digital Spy, “On Wednesday, there was not a scene in that show that I went home and was like, ‘Okay, that should be fine.’”

21. Lili Reinhart ($6 million)

At 27, Reinhart is no stranger to acting, but arguably her most famous is Betty Cooper in Riverdale. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a dark and gritty remake of Archie comics. Sounds ridiculous, right? That’s because it is, and it’s supposed to be! But her character is very close to her rein-heart.

When the hit show ended, Reinhart bid a tearful farewell to the character she had grown to love. On the subject of Betty, in 2023 Reinhart told Entertainment Weekly, “I cherish her as a character and as a woman. I feel so honored to have played her.”

20. Iain Armitage ($6 million)

Considering he’s a mere 15 years old, Iain Armitage has achieved an impressive amount of wealth and fame for his age! He starred alongside the likes of Reese Withersoon, Nicole Kidman, and Adam Scott in Big Little Lies, but many people will also recognize him from his other wildly successful show.

You see, Armitage starred as a child Sheldon in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, and he did such a good job that casting went right back to him for the spin-off, Young Sheldon. That series has been running for six years now, and it is still going strong.

19. Maisie Williams ($6 million)

Would you believe Maisie Williams is 26 already? It only seems like yesterday she was running around plunging her sword into people. We’re talking about her run on Game of Thrones, of course, where she played assassin-trained warrior Arya Stark. Not her personal life… as far as we know.

But don’t let Williams’ $6 million net worth fool you: she’s got her feet planted firmly on the same ground as the rest of us. In fact, she’s dedicated her free time and influence as an environmentalist, specifically saving endangered species for the Dolphin Project and acting as a spokeswoman for Greenpeace.

18. Elle Fanning ($6 million)

If you recognize 25-year-old Elle Fanning’s surname, it’s because her older sister Dakota is an actor as well! They’re not the only famous ones in the family, either. Both their mother and father were professional sports players, in tennis and minor league baseball, respectively.

Fanning has competed in a league of her own when it comes to movies, and she’s starred alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names, incluidng Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Yet her performance as Princess Aurora in Disney’s Maleficent is arguably her most magical role to date.

17. Anya Taylor-Joy ($7 million)

Anya Taylor-Joy enchanted critics in her first film role in 2015’s The Witch, and she’s been a rising star ever since. So much so, in fact, that the 27-year-old was nominated for 2017’s BAFTA Rising Star Award! She’s also been in two of M. Night Shyamalan’s movie projects: in Split and Glass, sequels to the legendary Unbreakable

Taylor-Joy went on to wow Netflix watchers by playing a cunning game in her acting career with the role of Beth in Queen’s Gambit. She may have a checkered past, but Taylor-Joy’s future’s bright: she voiced Princess Peach in 2023’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

16. Jaden Smith ($8 million)

As the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Jaden Smith needs no introduction, since all of his immediate family — including sister Willow and half-brother Trey — are famous! That’s not to say he’s been riding on their coattails, though: he’s an excellent actor in his own right.

You may remember Smith from the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid or 2023’s The Day the Earth Stood Still? He keeps himself busy away from the screen, too. Just like his dad, Smith is a musician, but he also designs clothes, and along with his siblings he acts as an ambassador for a charity called Project Zambia.

15. Florence Pugh ($8 million)

While Florence Pugh made her Hollywood debut in 2014’s The Falling, it was her performance in Lady Macbeth that brought her to mainstream attention. She’s since gone from strength to strength, most recently bursting onto the scene in the Hollywood blockbuster Oppenheimer. Pugh’s no stranger to the limelight, though.

She slayed audiences as Yelena Belova in the MCU’s Black Widow movie and the Hawkeye series. Outside of acting, did you know she can cook? Pugh was a lifeline for many people during lockdown with her YouTube channel Cooking with Flo

14. AnnaSophia Robb ($8 million)

AnnaSophia Robb is 29 years old now, but she showed talent at a very young age. In fact, a scout discovered her when she was just nine, and she made her first appearance in a TV movie at 12. But her first big-screen debut was a sweet one.

Robb was Violet Beauregarde in 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, just in case you’re not feeling old enough. She’s since had a surprisingly varied career, working on live action movies, voice acting roles and music videos. We can’t wait to see what she does next!

13. Abigail Breslin ($8 million)

While Abigail Breslin had other performances under her belt, her acting talents weren’t truly noticed by the larger world until she appeared in the hit Little Miss Sunshine. Now she’s Academy Award-nominated. Aw, how quickly they grow up! And to think, she started off as a lost little girl in a Toys-R-Us commercial.

Breslin’s roles have matured a little since then, and many people will recognize Breslin as Little Rock from the tongue-in-rotten-cheek comedy of the Zombieland series. Those who don’t might be more familiar with her leading role in another horror-comedy offering: the 2015 series Scream Queens.

12. Saoirse Ronan ($9 million)

Saoirse Ronan comes from a performing background — her father, Paul, is also an actor — and boy does it show! Although she had some small roles before her big breakthrough, it was Ronan ’s role in Atonement that brought her into the wider public eye.

Since then she’s been cast in many notable movies and TV shows, including 2009’s The Lovely Bones and 2017’s Ladybird. What’s more, Ronan is the second-youngest actress behind Jennifer Lawrence to get three Oscar nominations before hitting 24! Her name is pronounced seer-sha in Ireland btw, in case you were wondering.

11. Sophie Turner ($10 million)

Sophie Turner has been big in the news recently, what with her public split from Joe Jonas and all. But back in the days of Game of Thrones, she was known for her role as Sansa Stark, and you’d have had to have been living an actual medieval lifestyle to have avoided seeing her.

Although Turner hasn’t been quite as prolific in the biz since then, she has kept herself busy. In fact, she got into the heads of Marvel fans as psychic mutant Jean Grey in the X-Men series. She was the highlight of the otherwise critically-slammed X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

10. Chloe Grace Moretz ($12 million)

Chloe Grace Mortez comes in at the $12 million net worth mark, and it’s no surprise. She’s an excellent actor with a 17-year career and a few notable awards under her belt. Take her 2012 People’s Choice Award, for instance. But she has more than one claim to fame.

Mortez put in such a perfect performance as Hitgirl in the gritty superhero movie Kick Ass, she won an MTV Movie Award! Since then, she’s been everything from a nonbinary vampire in 2010’s Let Me In, to Stephen King’s prom-hating character Carrie. Most recently, she voiced the titular character in Nemona in 2023.

9. Hailee Steinfeld ($12 million)

Hailee Steinfeld proved she had true grit when she starred in the film of the same name in 2010 and made her mark on Hollywood. Indeed, her performance was so well received that she was nominated for two esteemed awards: a Golden Globe and an Oscar!

Now Steinfeld has shot her way into the MCU with a precision performance as Kate Bishop in the Hawkeye series. That’s not her only contribution to the world of comic-dom, though. She also voices beloved character Gwen Stacy in the awesomely animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse.

8. Ansel Elgort ($12 million)

If you’re a romantic, you’ll probably be most familiar with Ansel Elgort from 2014’s The Fault in Our Stars and even from the sci-fi romance Divergent: he co-starred with Shailene Woodley in both flicks. He then went on to front the movie Baby Driver.

Yet Elgort’s most recent performance — in Hollywood, anyway — was in 2021’s West Side Story. As if this wasn’t enough to have him dancing all the way to the bank, the movie was nominated for an Oscar, just to add to his already-impressive list of successes.

7. Dakota Fanning ($12 million)

Elle Fanning’s older sister Dakota has an incredible list of performances and achievements for someone just 27 years old! And what an introduction to the world of acting she had: she was the voice of Satsuki in Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbor Totoro.

The actress is also famous for her live-action roles — like anyone who’s anyone, she guest-starred in Friends — but her breakout role in I Am Sam was literally award-winning. She’s been a mainstay in movies ever since, most recently as Emma Collins in 2023’s The Equalizer 3.

6. Millie Bobby Brown ($14 million)

If you thought we must be done with Stranger Things on this list, you thought wrong! Millie Bobby Brown is arguably the biggest star of them all; she wowed audiences as Eleven in the hit Netflix show, which started all the way back in 2016. When she’s not fighting monstrous creatures from another world, you’ll find her in other equally spooky roles. Brown has become a go-to actress for the mysterious or monstrous.

She tackled some giant-sized problems as Madison Russell in 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and rshe eprised the role in the oversized smackdown Godzilla Vs Kong in 2021. She’s also solving mysteries — sans the monsters — in Enola Holmes and its practically named sequel, Enola Holmes 2

5. Zendaya ($22 million)

If Zendaya could rewrite the stars, she probably wouldn’t, because she’s currently living among them! With a reasonable net worth of $22 million, Zendaya has already had an extremely successful career, and she’s still only in her mid-20s! And if that weren’t enough, she’s now one half of a Hollywood power couple. She and fellow actor Tom Holland have been dating for a few years now.

Zendaya’s acting has earned her multiple awards, including a Primetime Emmy for HBO’s Euphoria, which made her the youngest actress at the time to do so. She’s also a signed singer and author, and she plays M.J. alongside Holland in the MCU Spider-Man series. This woman can do it all!

4. Tom Holland ($25 million)

Speaking of Tom Holland, guess who’s next on our list? The actor’s net worth outstrips his partner Zendaya’s by a whisker — if whiskers are worth $3 million, that is. Before Hollywood, Holland was the lead in Billy Elliot on Broadway; he gave such a good performance that the musical’s composer, Sir Elton John, described it as “astonishing.”

It’s probably only natural that Holland found soon his footing on the big screen. His breakout role in The Impossible, just two months after his Broadway departure, didn’t disappoint. Now he’s most famous for playing Spider-Man in the MCU, where he’s catching a whole new audience in his web.

3. Timothée Chalamet ($25 million)

Timothée Chalamet was born into a family with influence in the biz: his grandfather Harold Flender is a screenwriter, his uncle Rodman Flender is a director, and his sister Pauline Chalamet is also an actor. So he comes from good stock! After making a big impression in 2017’s Hostiles, the world sat up and paid attention.

Fans really bit down on Chalamet’s role in Call Me By Your Name and dug his part in 2021’s Dune, but perhaps his most gobstopping role will be the upcoming movie, Wonka. Chalamet takes the lead role as a young incarnation of the eccentric chocolatier. We just hope he doesn’t sugarcoat it!

2. Nicola Peltz ($50 million)

Nicola Peltz’s father is billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, so if she decides to take another career path, she’s still sitting on a huge pile of cash! But don’t let her role in the doomed 2010 The Last Airbender or the critically condemned Transformers: Age of Extinction fool you; Peltz has other roles under her belt. Take her appearance as Bradley Martin in Bates Motel.

The show is based on the Psycho movies and follows Norman Bates himself and his questionable taste in customer service. However, Bradley’s taste was even worse. She wanted to romance Norman, but apparently it’s dangerous to date a serial killer! Who knew? She met an untimely end and ultimately turned up dead in the trunk of a car. Oops.

1. Harry Styles ($120 million)

Harry Styles comes in at number one on our list with a massive $120 million net worth! That’s huge, and a lot of it is actually from his career as a singer in the popular boy band One Direction. Since the band’s breakup, though, Styles has made a pretty triumphant foray into acting.

Oh yes, Harry “The Heartthrob” Styles is now finding a new audience in Hollywood. His breakout role was as a soldier named Alex in 2017’s Dunkirk. It was only a relatively small role, but it certainly impressed critics. He has also starred alongside Florence Pugh in 2022’s Don’t Worry Darling and with Emma Corrin in My Policeman the same year.
